The Nostalgia Gassers Racing Association raced at the Central Illinois Dragway in Havana, Ill on June 12-2021, in their Spring Nostalgia Event. It was a little hot during the event, but it did not keep the track workers from providing a killer racing surface. To show it, Chuck Baird in his Wild Side front engine nitro dragster set the track record at 3:49 E.T. @ 212 MPH. Our entire club had lots of great runs with lots of great friends race talking about their runs. This was a great race weekend. So be sure and attend their Fall Nostalgia Event on Sept. 18-2021.
